The Detroit Lions Have Released Their Training Camp Schedule.
The Detroit Lions have just announced the dates for training camp that will be available to the public, and the Lions expanded the number of training camp dates that are available to the general public this year, something that fans should be absolutely ecstatic about.
Training camp is an exciting time for fans and, while many view it as something for the diehard football guys and the media, the Detroit Lions have done a lot to cater to the casual fan and make the experience fun for fans of different levels of enthusiasm.
This makes the expansion of the Detroit Lions training camp even more exciting. The Lions have announced that they will hold twelve practices that will remain open to the public, leaving plenty of opportunity for everyone to make it out, see their favorite Lions up close and personal and maybe land an autograph.
A couple of the dates are open only to season ticket holders, but there are plenty of days for the rest of the fan base as well, including joint practices with the New York Giants, and an opportunity to see one of the most electric draft prospects in Saquon Barkley up against the Detroit defense.
In addition to the practices themselves, The Detroit Lions Podcast will be holding another get-together that offers fans, listeners, and readers the opportunity to get together, meet in person and have a beer. Last year was an outstanding success and we are very excited to meet more of you in person this year. The date for that is tentatively set for Saturday, August 4, with the alternative date as Friday, August 3. More information will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for that. For now, mark your calendars.
