Detroit Lions Running Back, Theo Riddick, Has Been Ruled Out For Week 7.

The bye week was well received by the Detroit Lions when it comes to the health of the roster. Only four players were given injury designations for this week’s game in Miami.

The sure thing is that Theo Riddick is going to be OUT Sunday. He missed the entire week of practice with a knee injury. The severity of the injury isn’t certain, but signs don’t look promising for having Riddick back anytime soon. This will likely lead to seeing a bit of Ameer Abdullah in his place.

Defensive end Ziggy Ansah hasn’t played since week 1. He had another week of all limited practices and he’s listed as QUESTIONABLE. This has been the standard for Ansah for several weeks now. The hope is the bye gave him time to get his shoulder healthy, but it’s hard to really know what to expect when he has been participating in these limited practices the entire time without suiting up on game days. This will be the big news we wait to hear Sunday morning.

Guard T.J. Lang is listed as QUESTIONABLE as well with a concussion. Though, it looks like he will be good to go. He had consecutive full practices Thursday and Friday so expect to see him back in his right guard spot.

Tight end Michael Roberts is listed as QUESTIONABLE after missing a couple games with a knee injury. Roberts had two full practices to end the week as well.

Miami Dolphins

Brock Osweiler will make his second straight start at quarterback for the Dolphins while Ryan Tannehill nurses his injured shoulder this week.

The Dolphins listed the following players as QUESTIONABLE:
