Detroit Lions Final Week Before Cutdown

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff react to the Detroit Lions preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Evidently all is forgotten when it comes to the Detroit Lions play against the New York Giants, and now the wheels are coming off the Lions burning wagon in Detroit. There’s probably a little bit of context and balance that we can provide, and of course we’ll do just that for Detroit Lions fans who are licking their wounds after a gnarly showing in that cat fight. Also, we’ll talk about the roster bubble and begin the one week countdown to the Detroit Lions NFL roster cutdown to 53. There’s no more easing into that final roster, the NFL is fully committed to the full-on rip the band-aid off and let everyone scramble for new talent to balance out the bottom of their rosters.  Of course some wily teams try to put trades together and Brad Holmes and the Detroit Lions are no different. We’ll discuss that a little bit as well.
