Consensus First Round NFL Mock Draft
In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris is joined by Russell Brown of the Lions Wire and the Detroit Lions Podcast own Scott Bischoff to mock what a full first round 2023 NFL draft might look like. The rules for this NFL mock draft are simple, no trades, and we walk through the first round of the 2023 NFL draft agreeing on the most likely picks by each team along the way. Well, other than the Miami Dolphins. We’ll make the case as to why each NFL team is projected to make the picks stated, and talk very specifically through both of the Detroit Lions first round picks, why the Lions might choose them, and what how they fill the team’s needs

The 2023 NFL draft leaves a lot of Detroit Lions fans with questions about who to take at number 6 overall, and whether the Lions will trade up or down with that pick. We walk through a no trade draft scenario an help Detroit Lions and NFL fans to understand which players might go at which picks and why in the 2023 NFL draft. We’ll have a few mock drafts this month ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft on April 27. Some will include Detroit Lions trade possibilities, and in others we will mock multiple rounds of picks. Throughout we will bring a diverse set of voices to the table to help Detroit Lions fans get the best picture of the possibilities, and to prepare them for our 8th Annual Detroit Lions Podcast Virtual Draft Party!
