While we recognize that free agency happens between now and the 2021 NFL draft, we have to recognize that once we have made our way through the draft, we will have a great deal more understanding of what to expect from this team. We aren’t skipping free agency, we’re just looking to a key milestone on this journey of enlightenment.

We talk about the path the team and Calvin are currently on toward redemption and how things might have gone so wrong along the way. There are options for taking care of him monetarily as well, so hopefully in the end everyone ends up in a happy place.
Breaking Coaching News: Lions Hire Antwaan Randle El
Another player turned coach for the Lions – the Lions coaching staff has now played in 1081 games, or 67.5 full seasons. If you want a staff that can command the respect of its players because they’ve “been there”, you’ve hired them. This is an interesting dynamic for the team after the previous regime. Seeing the results are going to be really interesting. There is one thing absolutely certain, this is going to be a fun year to watch football.
