Chicago Bears Drama In The Locker Room
After the Chicago Bears embarrassing loss to Green Bay last Sunday night, Coach Nagy said the team needed to have some “personal pride” as he excoriated the defensive performance. If a player can get angry because a coach tells him he’s on his way to being a Calvin Johnson level receiver, you know damn well something like this can turn a locker room quickly. A Chicago Bears loss this week could very quickly spell the end of Matt Nagy’s time in Chicago with Ryan Pace likely to be right behind him. We discuss whether this gives the players something to play for or against this week, as it adds an interesting angle to the game.
Detroit Lions Podcast Addresses The Lions Situation
We hadn’t had an opportunity to discuss the Lions Coaching and GM situation with Tony Ortiz yet, so we spend some time discussing what this opportunity means for Darrell Bevell, and what characteristics we’re looking for in a coach and a GM. We discuss post-coach-firing bounce backs and what it could mean for the Lions. There’s also a great article written by Ash Thompson about Bob Quinn restoring the Lions reputation that we discuss ahead of our game preview. We cover the Injury report, Vegas odds, keys to the game, match-ups, and give you a final prediction. We even have a couple of laughs along the way.
