Ep: 136 – Lions Look To The Bengals ft. Dan Orlovsky – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by former Detroit Lions Quarterback, Dan Orlovsky for an extended conversation about the Lions, life, and what the future holds for him. Don’t miss the big news from Dan about next week, it will blow your mind!

First, we begin with the traditional, ‘This Week in Reddit’, segment. We abbreviate the segment a little bit this week due to the extended time we spend with Dan, and that’s a good thing.  We still find the time to talk about some key topics such as hopes for a Lions playoff appearance, Darius Slay and his amazing play this year (his Pro Bowl appearance was announced after we finished recording), Marvin Jones’ performance and Case’s gloating about predicting Marvin’s awesomeness.  We lament the loss of TJ Jones to IR, and also talk about Tion Green and what he means to the team these days.

As usual, Case takes us, ‘Around the Division’ this week with a slew of mostly good news for Lions fans. Of course, the bass drops like a rock in the intro to this segment.

Then, Dan Orlovsky joins us to talk inside Lions football, life, and what his future holds.  He brings Chris and Case to tears (laughing) with his story about the prank that Matthew Stafford played on Jed Collins (poor Jed).  Dan spend over an hour and fifteen minutes chatting with us and really covers the gamut of topics related to the Lions. It’s a fabulous listen, one that you would be foolish to miss. Also, Dan breaks some big news for next week…
