In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by Jeff “The Riz” Risdon for the entirety for the show, and he brings it full force this week.
The primary topic du jour? The coaching staff. We discuss, at length, what has gone wrong (does anyone agree that its best to play defense with 11 players on the field?), and what direction the team could possibly go if they decide to part ways with Caldwell and crew after the season. There are a number of good candidates, but how many of them will actually be available is yet to be determined. The Riz brings us a good candidate that not a lot of folks are thinking of. We put all of these potential head coach candidates through the wringer.
The immortality of Stafford and the emergence of future Hall of Fame running back Tion Green are covered, although we admit that the topics may have to be revisited in the near future. Also, a local Detroit shock jock has once again made headlines for bashing the Lions at a convenient time. Do we have to bring back the “bad media” segment? Come on, guys.
It was a rough loss and we are still reeling alongside Lions fans. Come along on that cathartic ride with us. Also, this episode description is what happens when Case is put in charge. We’ll see if Chris even notices, or if he just copy/pastes it into the post. Yes, Chris actually did notice, and Case will be appropriately reprimanded as a result. 🙂
Thank you, truly, to every one of our listeners. You guys are awesome!
Lastly, Case takes us on his “Around The Division” segment of worldwide fame (with another new intro) and discusses the current state of the NFC North.
