In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by Jeff ‘The Riz’ Risdon to discuss the latest Detroit Lions news and views.
The boys finally get back into the groove again after their recent travel and work commitments, unfortunately, it’s after a difficult to swallow loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Undeterred, Chris and Case push forward and find the good news that might carry the team into the playoffs.
They take a look at what could be considered a career game for Quandre Diggs. While he didn’t play perfectly, he took a big step forward in this game against some solid competition. We also talk about the strong play from the Offensive Line, our terrible Red Zone Offense, the changed Offensive scheme that was otherwise quite strong, the interesting new use of Jamal Agnew, and what to expect/look for over the rest of the Lions schedule. We also take listener calls during Fansanity and break down what happened at the trade deadline, Ziggy Ansah’s absence, and what the top four positions the Lions should be looking for in the 2018 draft.
Further, we take a look at what to expect in the upcoming Packers game and what it might bring, followed by Case’s huge segment where he takes us ‘Around the Division’.
