In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris runs the show solo while Case is away working. He gets a lot of help from the callers as they commiserate on one of the most frustrating losses in recent memory.
Of course, stupid Dean Blandino makes an appearance, we can’t seem to get him out of our lives in these terrible situations, in the true spirit of the NFL refs really sticking it to our team. We talk about Ameer Abdullah’s growth, just how terrible Ebron continues to look, and find some high points in a excruciating loss beyond their ability to make quality comebacks. This team performed very well against last year’s Super Bowl team and the NFC’s MVP, and at many points the Lions of old would have fallen completely apart. This team has shown that they can stand up and play against officiating adversity and will not let horrible take them off of their game. The Detroit Lions are definitely a team to take notice of, and have shown that when the refs aren’t mucking the works, they have enough talent to compete with the very best.
