In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, which, of course, is almost entirely related to the draft.
However, the Detroit Lions Podcast boys save the meat of the draft talk for their conversation with Jeff ‘The Riz’ Risdon. Prior to that, in their ‘This Week in Reddit’ segment, they cover some of the auxiliary topics, like the pickup of Eric Ebron’s 5th year option, the current status of the running back depth chart, and what life just might be like for new papa, Matthew Dadford. Case gets excited about his ‘Around the Division’ segment, but ultimately ends up shafted by a Clevelander who is looking for payback in retaliation for the trash Case has heaved in the direction of his home town. Case doesn’t take it too well.
The real highlight of the show this week is our pick by pick breakdowns of the Detroit Lions’ draft prospects with the Riz. We not only talk about how each player fits into what Bob Quinn is trying to do, but also where the potential pitfalls in his decisions for the team may lie. The Riz also robs the ‘Around the Division’ segment from Case, and they discuss how they wish the Vikings and Packers had as rough a draft as the Bears. Case might throw some punches Riz’s way by sliding some Cleveland shade into the show once again.
