In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Case is back with Chris to break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, discuss the first round playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, and talk about what it all means for the players, coaches, fans, and more.
During ‘This Week In Reddit’, the Detroit Lions Podcast guys talk about the Lions painful playoff loss against the Seattle Seahawks and what it means for the future of the team and fans. We spend some time discussing officiating in the NFL, and make it clear that while the officials have been terrible all year, they weren’t the reason the Lions lost. We move on to talk about one of the most polarizing players on the team, Eric Ebron, and why he is both awesome and terrible at the same time. Chris has coined the phase “Schrödinger’s Tight End” which we’ll talk about more in-depth in the next episode. We talk about drops in the NFL and have a good discussion about Jim Caldwell being the Andy Dalton Line for NFL head coaches. We talk Tahir Whitehead and Glover Quinn in-depth as well. Now back in the swing of things, Case and takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’ (with the high dollar intro) and brings us up to date on the latest breaking NFC North news.
This week, ‘The Riz’ (Jeff Risdon), is back to talk Seattle Seahawks with the Detroit Lions Podcast guys, we also discuss some of the deficiencies on defense, offense, and what might happen with the coaching staff (specifically Teryl Austin) as the offseason begins. There is some talk about a possible replacement Defensive Coordinator as well. As always, Risdon kills it.
