In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Case was out sick so Jeff Risdon stepped in to help and Brandon the Intern joined Chris to put together a great Lions postgame show after the exciting win against what has turned out to be a very tough division opponent in the Chicago Bears. The Lions pulled out another come from behind victory today and continued to look like they prefer to play up or down to their opponent’s level while pulling out the late game heroics to seal the win. Stafford hurt his finger, Theo Riddick didn’t play, Golden Tate had a tough day, and Zach Zenner is now in the concussion protocal – not good news. In better news, DeAndre Levy returned to the field and played a solid game in limited snaps. Either way, a win is a win, and with the Seattle Seahawks losing against the Green Bay Packers this win puts the Lions at the #2 seed in the NFC and moves their magic number over the Packers to 2 to lock in the division title. If they can hold the #2 seed they get a bye in the first week of the playoffs. A hearty thank you to everyone who took the time to join us on the live post game version of the Detroit Lions Podcast!
