In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case get back in the saddle with Mike the Ambling Bastard and Brandon the Intern joining us to take part in our Detroit Lions Podcast postgame show after the exciting win against the formerly powerful New Orleans Saints. The Lions finally put together a full game today and looked like they finally mean business on the field. Great numbers for Stafford and Golden Tate, Theo Riddick showed himself to be the whole package, and Zach Zenner even made a strong appearance. The Lions’ defense looked stout out there even while missing Tahir Whitehead and (hopefully for the last game) DeAndre Levy. Teryl Austin’s group played well and ruined Drew Brees’ day with the pass rush fading later in the game, but the secondary ensured it didn’t matter. This win put the Detroit Lions in great position to continue leading the NFC North division and closer to the division title. Jeff Risdon joined us as usual to break things down and bring some broader perspective on what this means for the team and provides a good view across the entire NFC. A hearty thank you to everyone who took the time to join us on the live post game version of the Detroit Lions Podcast!
