In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, find joy in the Redskins game, talk about the Texans with /u/skepticismissurvival, and talk about the team’s performance, recent player moves, Jim Caldwell, Eric Ebron, and more with the Riz this week.

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, we tune in to Dan Miller and Jim Brandstatter for some of their great game calls, we discuss some roster changes and what they might mean, our awesome new contest in which you can win a sweet Lions hat, what it means for the NFL to be so mediocre and why. We also talk about player development and the difference between Martin Mayhew and Bob Quinn, at least as far as we can tell so far.  Of course Nathan Cheatham provides our Fantasy Football Update, and Case takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’ to bring us up to date on the latest breaking NFC North news.

Lastly, we dive into a fun segment that’s always been a fan favorite, “Counterpoint”, and have a great discussion about the Minnesota Vikings with a highly esteemed member of the Vikings’ subreddit  /u/skepticismissurvival.  He does a good job breaking down the match-up from their side of the field.

This week, ‘The Riz’, joins and we ask him to become the mediator as we discuss our beliefs about Eric Ebron and what he means to the Detroit Lions.  We also take some time to break down what is going on with Jim Caldwell and continue to rail on his ineffectiveness.  We take a few moments to discuss the onside kick, let Jim Brandstatter and Dan Miller weigh in, and talk about player moves the Lions have made. Finally, the Riz looks forward to the big game against Vikings.
