Ep: 73 – Lions & Redskins Postgame Show – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Brandon the Intern joins Chris and Case to take part in our celebration of the big win against the Washington Redskins at Ford Field to make it three in a row!  The Lions were hungry and the fans weren’t disappointed in the outcome, a big win that brings the team over .500 with a record of 4-3.  We get a great breakdown from, ‘The Riz’ – Jeff Risdon, on today’s game as well as updates on what to look for as the season continues forward.  Hold onto your hats, ‘The Riz’ is starting to warm up to Jim Caldwell, and we found ways to give props to Defensive Coordinator Teryl Austin.  Jim Caldwell is looking much better than he did earlier in the season, and as far as anyone on today’s show is concerned, Jim Bob Cooter is most definitely a keeper. The team has had a lot of injuries to contend with, but nonetheless they are on a 3 game winning streak bringing home the ‘W’ in three consecutive games at home. In addition, we take live calls from our listeners, celebrate the win, and spend a lot of time gushing about Stafford’s amazing play today which should have him in contention for the NFL MVP spot this year. We had some really great calls from the listeners this week, thank you to everyone who took the time to join us on live post game version of the Detroit Lions Podcast!
