Going Into Practice On Wednesday, Four Players Appear On Injury Report
The Detroit Lions have been getting healthier and while four players were limited in practice on Wednesday, signs could point towards all four players appearing on the field and playing their possible final game of the season. Detroit needs all the help they can get as they fly to Seattle, and having these four players on the field can have a big change for the outcome of the game.
Swanson And Reiff Limited In Practice
Travis Swanson and Riley Reiff were limited in practice on Wednesday, but they seemed extremely limited. Dave Birkett, Lions beat writer from the Detroit Free Press was asked what extremely meant when it came to being limited in practice and he said “they were standing around doing nothing during the open portion of practice, but had helmets on so they’ll be limited on the injury report.” So while the report says they are limited, it doesn’t seem that they did much in actual practice. Good news though is that Travis Swanson will be talking to reporters on Thursday, something he hasn’t done since getting a concussion and it could be a good sign he returns on Saturday. These are the two players to watch out for.
Levy Limited Again, He Will Play
DeAndre Levy has been limited for a few weeks and has been playing. Expect him to play on Saturday, just don’t expect him to be on the field at every snap as that knee will still limit his playing time and he won’t play a full game until it is 100 percent.
Andre Roberts Returns In Limited Fashion
Roberts missed practice on Tuesday and returned on a limited basis and with a red jersey on Wednesday. Roberts played last week against Green Bay, so with him being able to play through the shoulder injury, it seems to be very likely that he plays in Seattle.
Seattle Seahawks Injury Report
While Detroit has a small injury report, Seattle’s is smaller and possibly better than Detroit’s. Defensive end Michael Bennett and tight end Jimmy Graham both missed practice on Wednesday, but it wasn’t injury related. Expect both of those guys to be on the field on Saturday though. Only two people missed practice due to an actual injury. Defensive tackle Tony McDaniel was out with a concussion, and running back C.J. Prosise missed practice with a shoulder injury. Those two players are the only ones Lions fans need to focus on for the rest of the week as the game gets closer.
