Ep: 74 – Lions Look To The Texans – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, find joy in the Redskins game, talk about the Texans with /u/skarmotastic, and talk about the team’s performance, recent player moves, The offensive line, Matthew Stafford, and more with the Riz this week.

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, we tune in to Dan Miller and Jim Brandstatter for a great call on the game winning touchdown pass from Stafford to Anquan Boldin, discuss a bunch of roster changes and what they might mean, the massive amount of Stafford hype that’s out there right now, a sweet new contest for our listeners, and take a look ahead to the Texans. Of course Nathan Cheatham provides our Fantasy Football Update, and Case takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’ to bring us up to date on the latest breaking NFC North news.

Lastly, we dive into a fun segment that’s always been a fan favorite, “Counterpoint”, and have a great discussion about the Houston Texans with a highly esteemed member of the Texans subreddit  /u/skarmotastic.  He does a good job breaking down the match-up from their side of the field.

This week, ‘The Riz’, joins us for an in-depth analysis of the Redskins game, let’s some real knowledge drop on the Kyle Van Noy trade and signing of Josh Bynes.  We also discuss DeAndre Levy and what his options for returning look like. He also takes a look at how well Graham Glasgow has performed so far, and why Laken Tomlinson has spent some time on the bench.  Finally, the Riz looks forward to the big game against Houston.
