Ep: 58 – Lions Preseason Dreams – The Detroit Lions Podcast

Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, including some great takes from the man with a fondness for sausage,  Jeff Risdon .

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, we talk about just how bad safety Dan Orlovsky is, and just why he shouldn’t be treated as badly as he is.  We take a look at Dwayne Washington and decide how big the hype is on his hype train and whether he’s on track or looking at a derailment.  We spend some time going over the Lions’ injury report and discuss if Ziggy Ansah is really a sleeper or not.  Of course Nathan Cheatham provides our Fantasy Football Update, and Case takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’.

We dive into a segment that’s always been a fan favorite, “Counterpoint”, and have a great discussion about the Ravens with Ravens subreddit member /u/jurph (also known as JR).  He talk about their injury status this year, how good their defense looks, and just how good he thinks the Ravens might be.

As usual, we are joined by ‘The Riz’, Jeff Risdon from SideLionReport.com for his segment, “Risdon’s Wisdom”.  After a sidebar in which the Riz proclaims his love for sausage, he gives a great breakdown on the team, how things look right now, and where he thinks things are going.  Don’t miss this, Jeff’s segment is *hilarious* this week.
